(Initial post) I know that so many people are hurting in this world today. And I hate to continue to ask you to help me with mine, but sometimes the sadness is so heavy that it’s suffocating. I would deeply appreciate your prayers today. Nick
(A few minutes later) It never fails – never. Moments after I ask the army of God to pray for me my heart stops racing, I start breathing more slowly, and my mind begins to clear so that “the eyes of my heart can see clearly again.” I came across this verse a moment ago from The Message Bible. It couldn’t be worded better for me right now: “God, the one and only – I’ll wait as long as He says. Everything I need comes from Him….He’s solid rock under my feet, breathing room for my soul,…” (Psalm 62:1-2)
The angel, Gabriel, was dispatched by God to bring the following message to the prophet, Daniel: “As soon as you began to pray, an answer was given.” (Daniel 9:23)
