Bitter or Better? (It’s up to You.)

Pain.  Disappointment. Betrayal. Suffering.

We all experience it. None are immune to it.

But, why do some emerge from pain differently than others?  Why do some go one to joyfully help others in their pain, while others grow bitter from their pain and die a slow death?

“Many of the character traits that run deepest are those that are driven in hardest. Hard times imprint themselves into a person’s character. Trials either leave a scar of bitterness and cynicism, or they forge strength, humility, and compassion.” – Henry Blackaby

The difference is in how we choose to respond.

The God who spoke into existence the cosmos can easily repurpose our pain into supernatural strength, impacting the world for good. If we let him.

“What man intended for evil, God intended for good.” (Gen. 50:20)

It’s not easy.  God never said it would be.

But, it’s possible.

With God, all things are possible. (Matt. 19:26)

If we let him, God will lovingly and powerfully repurpose our pain for good.  And your pain will become the very story that helps multitudes survive theirs.
